• The Tanzania Peaberry Arabica Coffee is known to be a novelty coffee with good reason. The Peaberry, also known as the caracoli, is a very specific type of bean. Most coffee “cherries” contain two seeds, and they each develop a flat side, but sometimes only one of the two seeds gets fertilized creating a round bean. This pea-shaped bean is known as a peaberry. This coffee originates from the Central/East African family that offers bright acidity and is aggressively flavorful. The “Peaberries” are hand sorted and sold separately. The peaberry is an unusual coffee that is known for its’ bright, and sharp character.
